1. Does PowerMatch™ require IT integration?
No, it doesn't! The PowerMatch™ technology is merely a single link that has been embedded in the career page of your existing website. The link can be fully functional within a few hours.

2. How does PowerMatch™ save me both time and money?
With the PowerMatch™ technology, all candidates in the talent pool database are automatically matched to every job opening as it occurs. The candidates who are the most qualified are instantly ranked at the top. Therefore, hiring managers are not wasting time identifying, sorting, evaluating, ranking and considering resumes that may be irrelevant.

3. Is PowerMatch an Applicant Tracking System (ATS)?
No, it isn't. PowerMatch™ is Talent Acquisition and Management software that is the best way to improve the accuracy of candidate identification. It also delivers an enormous reduction in terms of the costs and time involved with identifying top talent. However, PowerMatch™ does contain many of the features found in most Applicant Tracking Systems, and can be integrated into most HRXML applications.

4. Does PowerMatch™ source candidates?
No, because PowerMatch™ is not a traditional job board.  IdealHire can provide candidate sourcing services and tools,  PowerMatch™ works with whatever sourcing methods you are currently using to find candidates, and makes those methods more efficiently by automatically identifying the best matches for a specific job opening.

5. How is PowerMatch™ different from other technologies that also claim to do data matching and ranking?
PowerMatch™ uses structured information to match and rank candidate profiles to job openings by using a Common Language Database.  Proprietary algorithms compare education, industry, depth of experience and proficiency declarations to each specific job requirement.  PowerMatch™ does not screen resumes nor count the number of words or key phrases.

6. What does "common language" mean?
With PowerMatch™, job profiles are created using the same vocabulary as Candidate Profiles in the database.  This enables the precise matching and ranking of candidates according to how qualified they are for each job.  PowerMatch™ does not use keyword searches, artificial intelligence or Boolean logic to  match and rank candidates, because they can produce ambiguous results.

7. How flexible is PowerMatch™?
You determine the parameters for matching jobs and candidates based on education, industry and skills. With PowerMatch™, you can easily weigh these factors based on depth of experience and then change them as needed. A systems administrator can also customize and change the messaging functions on specific screens.

11. Is my data secure with PowerMatch™?
Absolutely! The PowerMatch™ system has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of candidate and employer information. Each system user must provide a password, in addition to a unique user name, to gain access to PowerMatch™. All database information is the property of the client, and is hosted at a secure off-site location, ensuring that access can only be granted through the PowerMatch™ web application servers.
